Vicky Foxworth

I have been the Director of the Center for Leadership and Organizational Change since its inception in 1999 (see History). My approach to organizational development is one of partnering with clients to help their organizations be excellent, dynamic, diverse, and responsive to quality of work-life issues. Having engaged in organizational change work for over 20 years, I think the core areas for most departments are leadership growth, visionary and outcome-oriented planning, and navigating communication, especially in our diverse and complex higher education arena.

I am not only committed to each client system achieving its goals, but to the momentum of the University as it increases its impact and excellence. Each department within the University, and each individual within each department, has a critical role to play. I am dedicated to helping each person or group reach its potential in a strategic, transparent, and caring way.

I am equally dedicated to educating the members of CLOC’s Peer Consulting Network faculty in the complex human art and science of process consultation.

I have a master’s degree in Training and Organizational Development from George Washington University and a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. I have consulted independently in higher education, K-12, non-profit, and government agencies.
